Arnys Burgundy Corduroy Jacket
Arnys Burgundy Corduroy Jacket
Founded in 1933, Arnys of Paris was an independent luxury men’s clothier known for its extraordinarily fine products embodying the classic Rive Gauche style, until the maison was acquired by Berluti and ended its business in 2012. Since then Arnys products have become ever more precious and collectible to those who love menswear.
This beautiful jacket is made of sturdy purplish-burgundy wide corduroy — a favorite cloth of Arnys. The unique lapel shape is in the middle ground between a peak lapel and a frog-mouth lapel that is not found anywhere outside France. The chest pocket configuration, with the shoulder panel extending to become the pocket flap, is again a characteristic Arnys design.
