Arnys "Cornac" Jacket
Arnys "Cornac" Jacket
Founded in 1933, Arnys of Paris was an independent luxury men’s clothier known for its extraordinarily fine products embodying the classic Rive Gauche style, until the maison was acquired by Berluti and ended its business in 2012. Since then Arnys products have become ever more precious and collectible to those who love menswear.
This jacket is one of Arnys’ iconic designs — the “Cornac”, featuring a gently curved collar usually found on vintage French hunting jackets, three minimalist slit pockets, and a swagging drape. The cloth is truly interesting: Upon close investigation, what appears to be a grayish green blooms into an intricate interweave of purple and lime green.
