Founded in 1933, Arnys of Paris was an independent luxury men’s clothier known for its extraordinarily fine products embodying the classic Rive Gauche style, until the maison was acquired by Berluti and ended its business in 2012. Since then Arnys products have become ever more precious and collectible to those who love menswear.

This shawl collar coat is one of a few Arnys iconic designs that has been iterated in a multitude of fabrics, from tweed to silk. On this one, the shell is a water-resistant performance fabric that has a smooth hand similar to that of gabardine. The generous body and A-frame cut create a flowing swag when in motion. The detachable wool/cashmere liner, in addition to functionally providing another layer of protection, also gives the coat a sense of gravity.
