Arnys Tweed Jacket
Arnys Tweed Jacket
Founded in 1933, Arnys of Paris was an independent luxury men’s clothier known for its extraordinarily fine products embodying the classic Rive Gauche style, until the maison was acquired by Berluti and ended its business in 2012. Since then Arnys products have become ever more precious and collectible to those who love menswear.
This jacket adds quite some Parisian flair to an otherwise ordinary tweed jacket. The collar and pocket flaps are trimmed with a corduroy facing that by no means stands out loudly but adds a subtle playfulness. The curved pocket flap can be, if needed for a more low-key look, be tucked in to transform the pocket into a nondescript welt sort. In the back the central vent has a pleated structure allowing for closure with three buttons, an unusual detail typically seen only on longer coats.
