Charvet Cashmere Sweater

Charvet Cashmere Sweater
Charvet was established in 1838 in Paris as the world’s first shirt shop. Its international reputation soon grew, with illustrious customers including royalty and presidents. Like Hôtel Ritz just across the street, Charvet, known for offering the finest men’s shirts and ties in the world, has long become an institution of Place Vendôme.
The label shows Charvet’s previous location at 8 Place Vendôme, thus dating the sweater to before 1982—the year when Charvet moved to its current address at 28 Place Vendôme
