Charvet was established in 1838 in Paris as the world’s first shirt shop. Its international reputation soon grew, with illustrious customers including royalty and presidents. Like Hôtel Ritz just across the street, Charvet, known for offering the finest men’s shirts and ties in the world, has long become an institution of Place Vendôme.

Charvet also offers bespoke tailoring that, like it’s ready-to-wear shirts and accessories, is none other than the best France has to offer. Charvet bespoke tailoring remains more low-profile yet equally superlative compared to the better known Parisian bespoke tailors like Camps de Luca and Cifonelli, meaning it is among the greatest in the world.
