Camps de Luca Bespoke Safari Jacket
Camps de Luca Bespoke Safari Jacket
A pillar of French bespoke tailoring, Camps de Luca is, of all the legendary names in this trade, the one that is the closest to bringing tailoring to a form or art. Looking at any piece from this house and you see elegance distilled and perfection embodied. In particular, the relentlessly fine and intricate hand-craftsmanship of their masterpieces are unparalleled anywhere in the world of bespoke tailoring.
This bespoke jacket is a very unique piece: A safari jacket nonetheless, with the classical elements including a shirt collar, a four-pocket configuration and a half-belt. Moreover, the jacket is carefully structured and tailored with light canvassing at the chest and the shoulders, turning what typically is a light-hearted casual shirt-jacket into a smarter and sharper proposition. The tweed (possibly a wool/silk blend), richly textured, is on the other hand pleasantly light and easy for the warm day. And you can’t miss Camps de Luca’s signatures like the Milanese buttonhole and the teardrop-shaped inside pocket.
