Introducing the exquisite Japanese kamisori razor crafted by Iwasaki of Niigata, renowned as one of Japan's most esteemed traditional blade-smiths. Iwasaki takes great pride in their lineage of master smiths who have dedicated themselves to the art of crafting samurai blades, and they have recently extended their meticulous hand-craftsmanship to the production of knives and razors.

A distinctive characteristic of Iwasaki's craftsmanship is their use of tamahagane, a precious steel traditionally reserved exclusively for premium samurai blades, in their utilitarian products. Kamisori razors, deeply respected by master barbers, hold a special place in Japanese tradition. Unlike Western-style straight razors, kamisori razors feature a single piece construction, where the blade and handle are seamlessly integrated from the same steel. This construction enables smooth and precise shaving maneuvers, further enhancing their appeal.
