The Andover Shop is a traditional American clothier that has been offering the finest menswear to New England elites — scholars, artists and statesmen alike — since its establishment in 1948 in Andover, and then in Cambridge. It is today among only a handful of independent clothiers that stand by a style, “the Ivy Style”, that embodies the traditional American elegance.

Patchwork tweed is a signature of the Shop: patches of leftover tweed sewn up in an apparently whimsical yet cohesive fashion into cloth that reminds one of the palette of the New England landscape.
